For the nation’s largest
AIDS organization, TEK converted a dilapidated 150,000
square foot, twelve story industrial building into
a state-of-the-art office structure. The building’s
exterior was completely renovated, and the interior
fit out included ten floors of administrative services,
social service functions, counseling rooms and an
HIV testing center. TEK’s goal was to create
a welcoming and supportive environment for GMHC’s
clientele, while staying within tight budget constraints.
