The director of this outpatient clinic desired a facility that would provide first rate HIV and AIDS care within a welcoming, imaginative, and non-standard environment. This 12,000 square foot facility was built within an existing 19th century hospital structure and required an almost total reconfiguration. Using economical materials, emphasis was put on unexpected color palettes, whimsical patterns and indirect lighting.
