This project for the Coalition for the Homeless involves the complete restoration and connecting together of three historic brownstones, in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, to accomodate 40 living units for previously homeless individuals. The facade is being completely restored, and a new handicap ramp is being added to allow for access to ground floor apartments. Historic interior details are being restored, new kitchens and bathrooms will be added, as wel as new technical systems throughout the building. The project is funded through the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development and state tax credits.
