This elegant 19th century brick town house, located in New York City’s West Village, was thoroughly renovated to improve the structure and the interiors of the basement and three upper floors. Finely detailed and crafted wood ornamentation, tile work and imported glass enhance the historic quality of the building while exhibiting a contemporary design approach. The addition of an enclosed lap pool at the basement level employs materials and natural light to create a meditative as well as recreational amenity for the residents. An elevator added during the second phase of the project serves all four floors.
