This 14,000 square foot commercial digital photography studio is comprised of a series of flexible photo ‘bays’ which can be made as large or as small as need dictates. Each bay incorporates advanced digital technologies for product and fashion photography. Support functions include an oval conference room, a cafe, client lounges, and offices crafted of translucent acrylic sheet, aluminum mullions, galvanized steel, and perforated metal. Materials were chosen to give the space a neutral tonality. The wall surfaces provide various levels of transparency, translucency and opacity, almost like a camera lens, depending on the degree of visual and acoustical separation required.
